Shorne Wood Engagement Shoot - Kent Wedding Photographer

Shorne Wood  Engagement Shoot - Kent Wedding Photographer

Madeleine and Wayne, two people who are living proof that double dates are good idea. They met on a double date through friends and after a slightly shaky start to the date (lets just say these were the days before google maps!) they hit it off. The other couple from the double date with are still together and will be attending the wedding as well!

Wayne popped the question in France where some of his family live. A lot of them will be coming over to the UK for the wedding so there will be lots of chances to parlais mon francais. Mange tout Rodney?

This was my first time meeting Wayne for the shoot (myself and Madeleine had met for a wedding meeting) and I could see right from the start what a great fit these guys are for each other. Their love and friendship shone through and they were full of fun and laughter. I really wanted to get this across in their engagement photos.

We met at Shorne Wood Country Park after a very rainy week but luckily the weather seemed to hold out just for us. Madeleine has been the park a few times to walk their dog and from scouting the location beforehand I found a variety of areas during our one hour shoot including a sensory garden and wide open meadow.

Below are a few of my favourites from the shoot. Madeline and Wayne are to be married in just three weeks time at Oakwood House Hotel in Maidstone and after this shoot I can't wait for the wedding. I can tell its going to a fun one!
