Your Wedding Questionaire
Three Months before the wedding date I will be sending you a wedding questionaire which will give you the opportunity to let me know the timings and details for the day. This information for me to capture your day without missing any moments , special people or wedding details that matter most to you. Once you have received your questionnaire you can refer to this page to help you fill in any sections. Once I have all this information i will review it and one month for before the wedding we will have a final talk through to make sure you are 100 percent happy with everything.
General Contact Details
Maybe the most important part of the questionnaire is the contact details and locations I will be covering on the day. I will most likely already have this information to hand but it is important I get this information on the questionnaire to make sure I have not put down an incorrect number or Address. I will also ask for alternate contact details for the day such as a bridesmaid or groomsmen. Please ensure the locations you list include a correct postcode and please let me know about any parking or access issues.
Schedule for the Day.
There is a lot that happens on your wedding and by giving me a schedule I can ensure I am in the right place at the right time to best capture your day. This schedule does not have to be exact for all parts of the day ( such as the cutting of the cake) but I do need to know the three times I need to know are the arrival time, ceremony start and wedding breakfast start time.
Of course everyone at your wedding is important and loved. I just need a list of those whom I will interacting with most during the day which is typically the bridal party and other close family members. I may need to address these people by name for help with group photos and I will know to focus on these people in particular when capturing candids throughout the day.
Group Photo List
To ensure your group photos run efficiently and in a relaxed way its always best I have this list before the wedding day. It is completely up to you what groups you would like to have on the day but my main advice is to keep it streamlined and simple, we can grab candid groups later on in the day with whomever you like but for the formal photos I recommend choosing between 6 - 8 groups. Here is a typical list that you can use if you are unsure.
- Bride and Groom with Brides immediate family
- Bride and Groom with Grooms immediate family
- Bride and Groom with Parents
- Bride and Groom with all wedding party
- Bride and groom with Bridesmaids
- Bride and groom with Groomsmen
- Bride and groom with Best man and Maid of honour.
Second Photographer Details
If you are having a second photographer on the day it is also best I have the details of when and what you would like them to cover at the start of the day.
Your day is special and unique to you and I want to make sure I capture your wedding in your vision and record all the important that make up your day so there is plenty of space in the questionaire to include this.
