Putting a wedding together at the best of times can be a bit of a challenge, but putting one together in your own back garden is something really special! Izzie and Sam totally knocked it out of the park! Their vision was to host a relaxed garden wedding with great music, great food and tonnes of laughter and they succeeded in abundance!

Izzie and Sam started their day by getting ready at the Botany Bay Hotel in Broadstairs. This was the perfect location to tie the knot as it was by the sea and just down the road from where they were hosting the reception. The morning was relaxed and as they had their two lovely children with them, full of moments.

The Ceremony was lovely, Izzie and Sam were surrounded by all their friends and family and the kids also played in a big part in the ceremony. Once the ceremony was complete, the wedding party headed outside for a celebratory drink by the coast. The weather was lovely and it was a great view!
After a quick drink by botany bay, Izzie, Sam and their guests headed just up the road to their home in Broadstairs to host the reception in their garden. The couple had done a fantastic job of providing games for the kids, amazing Mexican food, cool music and just a really lovely and relaxed atmosphere. It was like the perfect family BBQ but everyone was dressed up! Later in the day, there were some fantastic speeches, there wasn’t a dry eye to be seen and the gratitude Izzie and Sam expressed to their loved ones was a real highlight of the day to me. We also managed to escape the party briefly to get a few portraits by the beach which i’m really glad we did as they turned out great and are some of Izzie’s favourite photos from the day!
