About you/Me

Am I the right Photographer for you?

You care about real moments, real emotions, and real connection

You’re planning a fun, relaxed day
Not stiff, not formal, not full of interruptions

You don’t want to spend all day posing.
You want to actually enjoy it, not feel like you’re on a photoshoot

You want someone you feel comfortable around
More like a guest with a camera than a bossy vendor

You care about your people just as much as yourselves
The laughs, the hugs, the chaos — not just photos of the two of you

  • Izzie & Sam

Danny was so much more than just a photographer on our big day. It was like having an extra, helpful member of the wedding party on hand at all times. Danny understood that we are not the most natural people in front of a camera, yet managed to make us feel at ease and was able to capture so many beautiful, natural pictures that we will treasure forever.

  • Louise & James

Danny went out of his way to put us at ease and the photos we ended up with were just perfect. He was professional on the day, but not at all intimidating, so we ended up with lots of natural photos of people laughing and having fun. He had a real knack for capturing some special moments among our guests, too, which is so lovely to look back on as we couldn't be everywhere at once.

  • Amy & Jamie

On the day Danny felt like a member of our wedding party, it was like having a friend around us snapping away. He was a total delight and all our family and friends commented how friendly he was.

We didn't want to be dragged away from our wedding for the sake of photos. And Danny was happy with this and found two 15-minute slots in the day to take our couple shots which was ideal. We hated the idea of posed photos, so in those couple of photography moments, Danny just let us be ourselves and worked around us with amazing results.

MY Approach

A lot of how I work comes from street photography, which I shoot in my spare time. It’s taught me to slow down, pay attention, and trust real moments instead of trying to create them. Photographers like Martin Parr and Alex Webb have really shaped that — finding meaning in what’s already happening, not setting things up.

I don’t follow a script. Every wedding is different, so I’m not turning up with a fixed shot list or forcing moments. Most of the day I’m observing — watching, anticipating, and focusing on what actually matters. The emotion. The tears, the laughter, the hugs, the quiet in-between moments.

I don’t stage things. If it’s real, I’ll capture it. If it’s not, I’ll leave it alone. Some of the best photos are the ones you didn’t even realise were being taken — that element of surprise is everything.

That said, I’m not completely hands-off. Group photos are quick and organised, and couple photos are relaxed — more like a breather than a photoshoot. I’ll guide you just enough so it feels natural, never forced.

I shoot and edit in a way that feels light and true to the day — natural colours, real tones, nothing heavy. The big moments matter, but so do the small ones. That’s what brings you back to how it all felt.

I’m Danny Jack. I take Photos & Love Bad Puns.

I’m Danny.

I’m pretty laid back, don’t take myself too seriously, and I’m usually happiest just being around good people. I love my friends, I love spending time with them, and I’m always up for anything that involves good energy and a bit of chaos.

I’m not really into fancy things. I’ll take something relaxed and genuine over anything overly polished or over the top every time.

Outside of work, my brain’s usually bouncing between a few different things at once (ADHD life), which basically means I’m either deep into something creative or completely distracted by a new idea.

I love anything that lets me switch off a bit — being out in nature, travelling somewhere new, or just wandering with no real plan. A lot of that usually involves being out with my rescue Dog Apollo.

I’m a massive Nerd and I’m pretty much into every cliche nerdy thing. From Anime to Warhammer! I could talk for days but all that kinda stuff.

Several totally irrelevant facts about me.
(That might be fun to know!)

I was once part of the world’s largest underwater pyramid

I can rap every word to Hamilton

I play Bass in a pop-punk trio called Blink Day 41

My favourite D&D class is Warlock

I have an irrational fear of costumed mascots

About once a year I rewatch the Lord of the Rings extended trilogy in one day

I first started in music photography because it meant free gig tickets

There are two things i’m snobby about - Coffee and Sausage Rolls.

If I’m at a restaurant and someone orders the same dish as me I will panic change my order.

I will always choose a window seat, anything else is madness.

I love escape rooms, but I tend to get too competitive!
