Kent Wedding Photogapher
Unashamedly Documentary wedding photography from start to finish.
Hi, I’m Danny, a Kent wedding photographer and the person behind Danny Jack Photography. I capture relaxed, documentary wedding photography across Kent, London, the UK and destination weddings around the world.
I photograph weddings as they actually happen. No awkward posing, no staged moments and no pressure to perform for the camera. Just real moments, real emotions and everything that makes your wedding feel like yours.
If you love natural wedding photography but hate posing for photos, you’re in exactly the right place.
Less Posing,
More Party!
Weddings Are Really F**king Fun.So why Shouldn’t your photos be?
I’m not there to turn your day into a photoshoot. I’m there to be in it with you, capturing everything as it actually happens. From the nerves in the morning to the chaos of the dance floor, all the big moments and all the in-between bits that make it yours.
The stuff you’ll care about most isn’t planned. It’s the laughter with your mates, the hugs from family, the happy tears, the weird little moments you didn’t even realise were happening. That’s the story I’m focused on.
Based in Kent, I photograph weddings across the South East including London, Sussex and Surrey, as well as weddings throughout the UK and abroad. Wherever you’re getting married, I’ll be there capturing it properly — fun, real, and completely you.
My approach is simple. have the best day ever, forget about the camera, And I’ll handle the rest.
I believe your wedding day should feel effortless. That means natural images, quick transitions, and no over-the-top posing. I work quietly in the background, capturing the honest, unplanned moments that tell the real story of your day.
I’m not there to take over or direct every second. I blend in with your guests and pay attention to the emotions, details, and interactions that make your celebration unique.
Your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. My job is to document it in a way that feels authentic, relaxed, and full of life.
Over 300 Weddings Shot with a 100% 5 Star Record
I’ve been shooting weddings for about 10 years now and crazily I still just as excited about it as I did when I first started.
That’s because weddings are always different because the people are always different. I love going into a wedding not knowing exactly what I’m gonna be capturing for my couples.
It also means I’ve seen a lot. Different venues, different timelines, different kinds of days. So if things don’t go exactly to plan (they rarely do), it’s handled calmly without it affecting your experience.
Below are a few awards I’ve picked up along the way.
“From the start, Danny was super personable and fit right in as if one of our friends, he was discreet and everywhere at the same time.”
Why Would You Want Documentary Photography on your wedding Day?
For couples who don’t wan’t their wedding to turn into a photoshoot.
Documentary wedding photography is about capturing the day as it really felt, not how it was staged. Less posing, less interruption, more space for you to be present with your people.
I’m not creating moments, I’m watching for what’s already there. The nervous energy in the morning. Your mum quietly fixing your outfit. That one friend straight on the dancefloor. The small, in-between moments that end up meaning the most.
You won’t be pulled away all day. No long shot lists, no constant stopping. Your timeline isn’t built around photos, photos fit around your day. If something real is happening, that always comes first.
No forced smiles or awkward posing. If you’re not comfortable in front of a camera, this works with that, not against it.
Afterwards, you’ll have photos that feel like memories. Not a styled version of the day, but the full story. The atmosphere, the energy, and the people who made it what it was.

“Danny was the first (and only) photographer we had a Zoom meeting with, and after it was done, we cancelled the other ones - we had found our guy!”
Wedding Photography in Kent, UK & Beyond
I’m based in Kent and photograph weddings across Canterbury, Maidstone, Whitstable, Rochester and London, as well as throughout the UK.
I’m also a recommended supplier at Ferry House Inn, Cooling Castle Barn and The Old Kent Barn, so I know how those venues work, how the day flows, and how to capture it all without getting in the way.
Planning something further afield? I’m always up for it. Whether it’s a city wedding, a stately home, something DIY, or a destination wedding abroad.
Wherever you’re getting married, I’ll be there capturing it as it actually happens.
If you’re looking for a Kent wedding photographer who won’t make your day feel like a photoshoot, I’d love to hear about your plans.
