Old Kent Barn Wedding Photography
What a wedding to finish the season! I had such a blast shooting Jessica & Leigh’s New Year’s eve wedding at the Old Kent Barn in Kent. It’s a venue I’ve had the pleasure of shooting at before but this was my first ever New Year’s Eve wedding.
There’s a lot to love about shooting at The Old Kent Barn and I can’t wait to go back there again. The staff are all incredibly helpful and the grounds are beautiful and easy for guests to enjoy. Below is a quick slideshow and collection of photos from the wedding.
If you’re getting married at the Old Kent Barn I would absolutely love to hear from you. It’s definitely a wedding venue I want to photograph at again so if you’re on the lookout for natural, authentic and fun wedding photography then please do get in touch!
About Old Kent Barn
The Old Kent Barn is an award-winning family venue nestled in the countryside between Canterbury and Dover. The venue had humble beginnings as a three-bedroom Bed & Breakfast before being turned into a beautiful wedding venue.
One thing that has always stuck out for me is the quality of the staff I meet whenever I work there. Every time I walk in with my camera I’m greeted with a smile and given a friendly run-through the day before heading up to see the bride or groom.
The venue is made up of 2 barns, one for indoor weddings and the reception and the other for accommodation and typically where one part of the couple will get ready.
The rest of Old Kent Barn is made up of stunning gardens including a lake and fountain, a paved seating area for outdoor ceremonies. The rose and wisteria-covered aisle for those important entrances is one of my favourite areas to take a few quick portraits before getting back to the action.
