Katie & Steven got married in the summer of 2019 at Swancar Farm Country House. Its a wedding venue in Nottingham that I love to shoot at and Katie and Steven’s wedding there was so much fun! The weather was just perfect for a summer wedding and the day was full of laughter and love.As you know, although I’m now a Kent Wedding Photographer I started my business in Nottingham so i often get to shoot at lovely venues like this one.

About Swancar Farm Country House
Steven & Katie both got ready on the morning of their wedding at Swancar Farm Country House. It is a beautiful venue for a wedding with lovely spaces for the ceremony, getting ready and reception. I was with Katie whilst she got ready with her bridesmaids, flower girls and both mums. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed hanging out whilst taking some lovely pics. This is one of my favourite getting ready rooms as the window light is just lovely. Katie’s wedding dress was absolutely beautiful and it was a lovely moment when everyone saw her in it for the first time.
Once everyone was ready it was time for the ceremony, which was full of emotion. Tears of joy and plenty of big laughs. I think I was smiling the whole way through.
After the ceremony, it was time for confetti, cake cutting, canapes, and cuddles. We all had a lot of fun taking some quick group photos. Just as Katie and Steven wanted , the day that was really chilled out and the guest had plenty of time to mingle in the sun. We also took some lovely couple shots before and after dinner.
After the wedding breakfast and some lovely speeches, all of which were brilliant. One surprise Katie and Steven had for their guests is that they had planned a choreographed dance for their first dance. It was absolutely incredible and kicked off the party perfectly!
