I’m proud to call myself a wedding photographer . I love weddings because they’re one of the few days in life where all the best stuff happens at once. You’ve got your favourite people in one place, emotions all over the place, hugs, tears, belly laughs, chaos, bad dance moves, brilliant outfits, family history, new memories being made, and loads of moments you never even knew were happening. Its the closest you get to enjoying all the things that make us human.

For me, weddings have never really been about perfect poses or making everything look too polished. They’re about people. They’re about how the day felt. The atmosphere, the nerves in the morning, the way your mates react during the speeches, your grandparents sitting quietly taking it all in, the moments on the dancefloor when everyone stops caring what they look like. That stuff matters. That’s the heart of it.

As a person, I’m pretty laid back, easy to get on with, and not really into making people do awkward things just for the sake of a photo. I like people, I like stories, and I like finding meaning in the in between moments. I’m not the loudest person in the room, and that probably helps. I’m good at blending in, noticing things, and capturing what is actually there rather than turning your wedding into a photoshoot.

Outside of weddings, I’m into travel, nature, good food, music, and anything that feels a bit creative and a bit meaningful. I’m probably happiest when I’m with people I love, out walking, planning the next trip, or getting way too invested in something niche. I take my work seriously, but I don’t take myself too seriously, and I think that’s a big part of why people feel comfortable around me.

At the end of the day, I care about making photos that feel like your memories, not someone else’s version of what a wedding should look like.
