Kent WEdding Venues
A list of Kent’s best wedding venues perfect for your special day.
I’ve been lucky enough to shoot weddings all over the beautiful county. Kent is home to some of the best wedding venues in the UK and I’ve found there is a wedding venue to suit every to suit every kind of couple’s needs and tastes.
When it comes to variety, Kent has a variety of landscapes such as beautiful beaches, rolling hills, rustic farmland, and historical towns. Couples getting married in Kent are spoilt for choice when it comes to picking a great setting. In particular, there is a huge choice of barn and country house venues.
How to pick the best venue for your kent wedding
I’ve found that every venue is unique in its own way and it’s not possible to say there is one best wedding venue, only the best one for each couple. For those who are in the process of looking for a venue, I would suggest listing the things that are most important to you first. For example, how many guests would you like to have? Do you want a nice outside space? What time of year would you like to get married and would that time of year suit a certain venue? And finally what type of wedding would you like to have? Something rustic where you can add your own DIY touches? Or something glamorous and glitzy?
Once you’ve asked yourself those questions and figured out your budget I invite you to have a look at some of my favourite venues below. All of them are different but I can testify that couples have a great time at all of them, the couples are well looked after by the staff, and they are a joy to photograph. If you want to know more any of the venues or want to talk about your wedding photography then please do get I’d love to chat! Here are my top twelve favourite venues in no particular order.
Some other things to consider
Finally, if wedding photography is something that is important to you then there are few other bonus things to look out for ;
How much freedom do you have with the schedule, can you have an earlier ceremony so you have a longer reception with guests?
Is there a nice room to get ready in before the ceremony, like a bridal suite
Do you still love the venue even if it rains all day? Picking a venue just based on what its like outside can be a little risky and to avoid disappointment I would suggest picking a venue that works for your amount of guests regardless of the weather.
Do you want the staff to be hands-on or hands-off? Check out some reviews from former couples, depending on what your are after you may find some venues leave you to it and are very relaxed and some venues are very orchestrated when it comes to timings.
