The Barnyard Wedding Photography
Sarah & Dave
The rumors were true, getting to be a Barnyard wedding photographer was something special and a day wedding I'd remember for a long time. Sarah and Dave got married back in 2018 on a lovely summer day. The whole wedding at the Barnyard was beautiful and full of laughter and love.
This was the first wedding I had photographed at The Barnyard and I was very excited to see what I could come up with. I'm so pleased with the photographs and know Sarah and Dave love them too. Below I have included a gallery of some of my favorite photos from their special day for you to enjoy as well a few words from me as to why I loved being a wedding photographer at the Barnyard. If you've landed on this page because you're on the lookout for a wedding photographer then welcome! Please do stick around and have a look, you can also see my ‘best of’ portfolio if you would like as well as taking a look at pricing. Getting Ready for the wedding
Since I shot this wedding, The Barnyard has actually built a new dressing room, designed for brides and bridesmaids to get ready for the ceremony in a peaceful setting. It looks like a great spot to enjoy some champagne and get into your dresses before the big 'I-Do's'!
Sarah and Dave got ready for their big day at a beautiful barn just down the road which had a very homey feel. I had a great time with the wedding party capturing detail and getting ready photos for the couple. There was a lot of excitement in the air and one of my favorite moments was when Sarah's father saw the beautiful bride in her wedding dress for the first time. Once everyone was ready it was time to head off to the Barnyard for the ceremony!
Wedding Ceremony at the Barnyard
As the weather was so lovely, Sarah and Dave were able to host their wedding outside. The barnyard actually offers several options for couples to choose from for their ceremony. For indoor ceremonies, there is a luxurious permanent marque that can host many guests and has lovely natural light ( great for photographs). For smaller ceremonies, brides and grooms can also use the rustic converted barn featuring a picturesque hallo of fairy lights which is a great option for twilight ceremonies.
I do love the outdoor ceremonies at the Barnyard though, having a view of the orchards whilst you make your wedding venues is definitely something unique I know a lot of couples will love. Sarah and Dave did just that and it was a magnificent Ceremony. As the new husband and wife left ceremony through a line of confetti it was time to enjoy the rest of the day.
Wedding Photography at the Barnyard
When it comes to stunning views, Wedding photographers will find very little to fault at the Barnyard. The venue itself is nestled in the Kent Countryside surrounded by hills. One of the unique features of the wedding venue is the neighboring orchards which create a very special and romantic backdrop for the couple’s wedding portraits. For the family photographs, we were able to use the countryside landscape and take our photos just outside the marquee whilst guests enjoyed their drinks.
Wedding Reception.
After the ceremony, Sarah and Dave had hired a mini-golf course for guests to enjoy! This was a lot of fun and enjoyed by both kids and adults alike. Once everyone had had a great time out in the sunshine it was time to head inside for some hilarious speeches followed the wedding breakfast.
Definitely one of the highlights for was the evening of the wedding day. As more guests arrived the dancefloor turned into one of the best ones I've ever photographed. There were so many amazing dance moves and the music from the live band was awesome! The night ended with some surprise fireworks which was the perfect end to the perfect wedding.
Thank you so much for checking out this blog post and thank you once again to Sarah and Dave for putting on an amazing day and choosing me to be their wedding photographer.
