Best of 2019 and a big thank you!

A look back at another amazing year of wedding photography!

Wow what a year!! Looking back at it now it almost seems more than a years worth of wedding photography. First of all before I get into the photos I want to say a massive thank you to all the couples whose weddings I shot last year. It gave me so much joy to go back through all your photos and relive those amazing days. Each and everyone one of you were so lovely and welcoming on the day and I honestly can’t think of one wedding where I didn’t leave with a big grin on my face, knowing i’d given it my all and that the couple had an amazing day.

For any couples who have already booked me to shoot their wedding next year, I hope these wedding photos give you a better idea of what to expect and help get you even more excited about getting awesome photos of you and your loved ones on a truly epic day.

This year was special to me for a few reasons. I started the year on a mission, I wanted my wedding photos to feel like you were there. When my clients see their pictures in a few years time I want them to remember how that moment felt, whether it be feelings of joy, excitement, pride or that special feeling you get right after your first tequila shot of the evening. That’s the mindset I started this year with and because of that I got closer to the action, looked more for little moments and worked my butt off every time!

There are too many wedding days highlights to list here and I think I’ll let the images speak for themselves but a few spring to mind such as Billy and Phillipa’s amazing musical exit, Katherine and John’s delicious doughnut wall and boogylicious dancefloor, garden games at Amanda & Tom’s, Izzie and Sam and the amazing love that surrounds them, Julie’s first dance with her dad which turned into a flossing competition, two of my favorite people Laura and David getting married by a lake with family from the other side of the globe, joining Sophie and Dan on the beautiful Amalfi coast, Melissa and David and day of non-stop hugs, and so so much more. Thank you all of you. I’m so lucky to be able to capture these moments for you and if 2020 is anything like this year I’m so so excited.

This year also held a few personal milestones for me outside of the wedding world, I lost some weight and did a tough mudder, I moved (again) to Rochester and most importantly we got the amazing new member of our family, Angus the dog. You may even see a photo of him below!

I know I’ve said several times again but one final thank you to not only all the awesome couples but also to my own circle of loved ones for always being there. Bring on 2020!!!
