Raphelle & Remi

Raphelle & Remi tied the knot at the Ferry House Inn in Kent in early 2020. They are a lovely French couple with heaps of guests coming over from France. The venue is a joy to come back to time and time again and Raphelle & Remi’s day was chocked full of all the love and laughter that make weddings so awesome. Even though it was one of the windiest and wettings days of the year, nothing could stop these two and their loved ones having an amazing time. A couple of highlights for me include Raphelle’s Dad dancing here down the aisle and an impromptu synchronized dance to Uptown Funk in the evening!

Below are a few photos from their amazing day, enjoy!

Raphelle & Remi both got ready at the Ferry House inn, it was a lovely morning as they had lots of family and friends around them who had also stayed the previous night. Everyone was laughing and full of joy and there were some really touching moments before the ceremony began. It was especially windy that day but fortunately, Raphelle didn’t have far to go to reach the ceremony room.

Once Raphelle & Remi were ready we headed to the ceremony room that was beautifully decorated. One of my favourite moments in the day was when it was time for Raphelle and her Dad to walk down the aisle, Dad was so excited they ended up dancing down the aisle instead which was amazing! There were some lovely readings as well.

As this was a french wedding, the order of the day was a little different to the norm, it worked really well, and it was great to see everyone playing games, enjoying the photo booth, and eating amazing food.

After the meal in the evening, there was a few speeches, which although I couldn’t understand ( they were in French) I could tell were hilarious and touching.

After the speeches, it was time to hit the dancefloor which was in full swing from the start. I think I ended up staying till midnight it was that much fun!

Thank you so much for checking out this blog post. If you are getting married in Kent, or anywhere in the UK and are looking for a relaxed and natural wedding photographer I would love to hear from you!
