Susan & Robyn

“We are so pleased with the photos. You have captured the day so well for us, thank you so much!”

Susan and Robyn tied the knot at the Ferry House Inn in Kent in early 2020. The venue is a joy to come back to time and time again and Susan & Robyn’s day was chocked full of all the love and laughter that make weddings so awesome. I had a blast capturing their wedding and spending time with their friends and family and two of the loveliest people you could meet. As a Kent Wedding Photographer, I am actually one of Ferry House Inn’s recommended suppliers, something that I’m very proud of. You can find more photos from the Ferry House in my portfolio.

Below are a few photos from their amazing day, enjoy! Please do get in touch if you’re looking for a wedding photographer, I’d love to chat!

Susan & Robyn had their hair and makeup done together in the morning which was a lovely idea before they headed off to get dressed separately. The couple had booked a second photographer so we could capture both sides of the story. It was a sunny winter’s day but full of wind! There was a fantastic atmosphere in the morning at it was a pleasure to get to know Susan & Robyn’s family. I had photographed Susan’s sisters weddings the previous year so it was amazing to see them again with a new baby! Susan wore a beautiful classic white dress for her wedding and Robyn donned and incredibly smart suit with awesome rainbow shoes!

Once Susan & Robyn were ready we headed to the ceremony room that was beautifully decorated. It was a lovely moment when Susan’s mum led her down the aisle with her sisters walking ahead of her and the look on Robyn’s face when she first saw Susan was epic. There were some lovely readings as well.

After the ceremony, the reception kicked off with some fun portraits and group photos followed by a drink reception. We did some group photos right off the bat whilst the weather held and the guests headed inside for drinks and entertainment by a fantastic magician. Me and the couple snuck away for some portraits whilst guests took their seats for dinner.

After the wedding breakfast and a speech from Robyn It was time to hit the dancefloor which was full of some pretty epic dance moves. Susan & Robyn had also organised a sparkler exit which was a lot of fun!

Thank you so much for checking out this blog post. If you are getting married in Kent, or anywhere in the UK and are looking for a relaxed and natural wedding photographer I would love to hear from you!
