The Gardens in Yalding is one of my favourite wedding venues in Kent to take photos as its just totally stunning everywhere you look. I’m proud to be a Gardens Yalding wedding photographer for Demi and Kieran’s special day and can’t wait to capture more weddings at these beautiful gardens in the future.

The gardens is a unique wedding venue located between Maidstone and Royal Tunbridge Wells and hosts weddings throughout the year. The Garden’s features and contemporary styled barn, 12 acres of picturesque gardens and a central gazebo for outdoor ceremonies. This venue has something for every bride and grooms planning their wedding day. Whether it be something quirky or traditional, the gardens in yalding will make for a perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.

The Gardens Yalding Wedding Venue

It’s hard to beat the Gardens Yalding as a wedding venue. In particular for those who want to enjoy their wedding outdoors. The beautifully cared for lawns and flowers are a real feature of the venue and can be enjoyed by the bride and groom and their guests year-round.

Getting Ready at Yalding Gardens

Before the ceremony, there is a dedicated space on the top floor of the barn for you to get ready in. Brides can bring their bridesmaids, make-up artists and photographer and there is plenty of space for everyone. There’s even room for you too hang your dress and display your flowers for some pictures before the ceremony. You can look at our over the acres of the garden whilst getting your hair done and the space makes for some great pre-wedding photos.

The Wedding Ceremony

Depending on the time of year and the weather in Kent, there is a choice of locations for the wedding ceremony itself. One of which is the modern barn at the entrance to the venue which works well for those winter months. You get a great view of the garden itself and the barn is the perfect blank canvas for couples to add their own unique style to their ceremony. The other option for when it is dry is the rustic gazebo located in the centre of the garden. As it was dry for Demi & Kieran’s wedding this is what they went for and the ceremony was absolutely stunning. The couple had decorated the gazebo with flowers which looked fantastic. After the ceremony, Demi & Kieran walked through their guests as they threw confetti and it made for some great wedding photos.

Wedding Photography at Yalding Gardens

To wedding photographers, the Yalding Gardens are a dream come true. There are so many fantastic spots for photography throughout the day. Because there is so much variety in terms of backdrops, during the wedding portrait session its absolute joy to take the couple along with my camera to get some awesome snaps. Demi & Kieran went for a romantic stroll together and it led some beautiful pictures. There is also plenty of space for the newlyweds to provide entertainment to the wedding guests. Demi & Kieran had set up lawn games to be enjoyed by everyone and it was a lot of fun.

The Wedding Reception

When its time to sit down for your wedding breakfast, the venue has a separate Tipi area that you can use. The tipi looks really cool and is something unique for your guest to enjoy during the speeches. Demi & Kieran had decorated the tipi really well. After speeches are finished its time for the party and once again the place is to use as you wish. The lovely couple had a wedding DJ play music in the Barn as guests danced the night away.
