Tom & Amanda’s Summer Wedding
This wedding was a special one for me. I'd been a Kelham Hall Wedding photographer once before but this time I was photographing the wedding of an old school friend of mine Tom, and his lovely bride to be Amanda. It was fantastic to be a part of this special day and see some old school friends at the same time and I'm excited to share the photos below.

Getting Ready for the wedding
Amanda & Tom were wed back in the Summer of 2018, they had booked my second photographer Lily Lane Photography so we were able to capture the preparations from both sides in the morning. Tom and Amanda actually live in Canada together so in the morning the lovely bride Amanda and her family and bridesmaids got ready in an Airbnb in Nottingham City Center which was pretty cool.
The morning was really nice and very enjoyable for everyone. I and the videographer Mike Savory enjoyed getting to know Amanda's family whom many had not been to the UK before. Once, everyone, had their hair and makeup done and Amanda had put on her stunning wedding dress it was time to head off to Kelham Hall for the ceremony.
Meanwhile, my second photographer Lily was with the guys as they met up for a pre-ceremony drink in my home village Radcliffe-on-Trent. I knew all of Tom's groomsmen from school so it was great to see these photos when I was editing them.
The Ceremony at Kelham Hall
Kelham Hall has many options when it comes to hosting your wedding ceremony depending on how many guests you have in attendance. All of which have their own unique character. These include the music room and the stunning drawing room which is where Tom and Amanda held their ceremony. I arrived at the wedding venue before Amanda so was able to capture her arriving in the car which was a lovely moment. The ceremony was beautiful and full of tears ( the good kind!) After the wedding ceremony was finished and the register signed, the newly married couple headed outside for an epic confetti walk which was a joy to photograph.
Wedding Photography at Kelham Hall
After the ceremony, the wedding party mingled outside in the summer sun. During this time I took some family portraits and a few couple shots. Kelham Hall is surrounded by many beautiful gardens and its easy to get plenty of variety in your wedding photos without having to far. We had a lot of fun taking these photos in a relaxed way and I know Tom and Amanda had a great time.
Wedding Reception at Kelham Hall
During this time the lovely bride and groom had also organised some lawn games for their wedding guests to enjoy, the whole afternoon was super relaxed full of laughter. We then headed inside for dinner and speeches
The speeches are always one of my favourite times of the day and it’s lovely to see how much love was at the wedding. Tom's best man Joe was especially hilarious and everyone was in stitches. The evening was just as epic as the sun went down on an amazing day. We finished the night off with a walk through sparklers which was one of my favourite photos from the whole wedding
Thank you so much to Tom and Amanda l for having me on their special day.
